About Niko:

Niko received formal education at the Capilano University Jazz School. He taught private lessons at the Pacific Drum Centre for five years and has maintained a private teaching practice for the past twenty years. He has worked with students from age four to sixty; beginners to fellow professionals. 

Niko has a wealth of professional experience playing many genres including Jazz, Pop, Rock, Musical Theatre, Orchestral, etc. He’s played on over a hundred records and has toured extensively with a wide range of artists (including some Juno and Grammy winners). He’s performed dozens of times in the Vancouver International Jazz Festival, the Vancouver Folk Festival, and has played in the orchestra for multiple Arts Club Theatre productions.
